About Alonzo Raul Corral
Alonzo Corral was born and raised in Southern California. He attended Arizona State University, where he earned a Bachelor of Arts in History with a Minor in Ethnic Studies, and a Social Justice and Human Rights, M.A. He worked as a social worker for a public high school in the west valley. After starting a family, he attended and graduated from the University of Arizona College of Law in 2018. Alonzo became an attorney in 2019 and attained the position of Staff Attorney for the Legal Service Department of the Pascua Yaqui Tribe. He has served the Tribe as a Deputy Public Defender, Deputy Prosecutor, and most recently as an Assistant Attorney General. Alonzo been volunteered with the Arizona Minority Bar Association, where he served for approximately five years in different positions including Secretary, Vice President, and President, and as a board member for the Community Food Bank of Southern Arizona. He hopes to continue living his life serving the community and working toward equity and cultural inclusion.
