Anne Chapman focuses exclusively on white collar criminal defense and investigations. Anne joined the firm after being a leader in the Investigations and Criminal Defense Group at Osborn Maledon PA and serving as an Assistant Federal Public Defender in the Eastern District Virginia for five years. She represents individuals and companies facing investigation or indictment. She also advises clients on a wide range of regulatory and compliance matters including money laundering, health care fraud, financial and mortgage fraud, import and export regulations, and the False Claims Act. She has handled internal investigations involving several aspects of corporate misconduct. Anne has experience representing clients at every stage of the criminal process including bench and jury trials and direct appeals. In 2006 Anne was awarded the Distinguished Service Award from the National Association of Federal Defenders. She served on the Board of the National Association of Criminal Defense lawyers from 2009-2012. Anne was appointed in 2012 by the Maricopa County Superior Court to the Capital Defense Review Committee. She also currently serves as Immediate Past Chair of the Board of Community Legal Services. For the past three years Anne was identified as one of Phoenix’s “best lawyers” for white collar criminal defense. Anne received her law degree from Duke Law School where she graduated cum laude. She is admitted to practice in California, Arizona and Virginia.
