ASHLEY L. CASE is a Board-Certified Specialist in Estate and Trust law and practices in the areas of estate planning, tax, probate, and trust administration with a focus on making the experience pleasant and educational for her clients. She is experienced in assisting individuals and families in the creation of estate planning documents while educating her clients about the function and necessity of each, in addition to managing the legal procedures associated with probate and trust administration. Ashley earned her undergraduate degree from Arizona State University. She graduated with her Juris Doctor from Chapman University School of Law and earned her LL.M. in Taxation from Boston University School of Law with a concentration on estate planning. Ashley has presented multiple continuing legal education programs before the Maricopa County Bar Association and the State Bar of Arizona on estate planning and tax topics. Ashley has also volunteered her time to the State Bar of Arizona’s “Arizona Attorneys Respond” series, where she discussed estate planning during COVID-19, and as a guest speaker for the Graduate Tax Program at Boston University School of Law. In addition to speaking, Ashley also writes about tax and estate planning. She has co-authored an article for the NAEPC Journal of Estate & Tax Planning (“CCA 202152018: Lessons for a Multi-Disciplinary, Collaborative Approach to Planning”). In addition, she has been featured twice as a guest author by Forbes.com (“Love & Marriage: What’s Tax Got to Do with It?” and “Taxing Super Bowl MVP Tom Brady”). Ashley is licensed to practice law in Arizona and before the United States Tax Court. She volunteers her time to the Maricopa County Bar Association, where she currently serves on its Board of Directors, as a current member and past chair of the Estate Planning, Probate, and Trust Section, and as a Diversity & Inclusion committee member. In addition, Ashley serves on the Board of Directors as Secretary of the Central Arizona Estate Planning Council and the Publications Committee of its parent organization, NAEPC. She is an Articles Editor for the NAEPC Journal of Estate & Tax Planning. Never one to miss a meaningful volunteering opportunity, Ashley also serves as a member of the Steering Committee for the Maricopa County Chapter of the Arizona Women Lawyers Association (AWLA), promoting women lawyers’ success throughout Arizona. There she serves as Chair of the AWLA Professional Development Committee and a member of the Leadership Appointments Committee.
