About Colton Blake Johnston

Colton earned his B.A. in Business, summa cum laude, from Arizona State University in 2012. He then attended the Denver Sturm College of Law where he earned his J.D. in 2016. Colton has likewise had the honor of presenting to various attorneys, caretakers, and patients through institutions such as the West Valley Coalition on Aging, Fellowship Square Senior Living, The Gardens of Scottsdale, and many others. Colton currently leads the Guardianship & Conservatorship Team at Jackson White. His team has helped hundreds of families through the painstaking guardianship process. Colton prides himself on extensive experience in helping families (including those unable to afford representation), facilities, caretakers, and loved ones in navigating long-term care, estate planning, Medicare & Medicaid disputes, and legal authority to act on behalf of those who are suffering from incapacity and/or dementia. Before his tenure at Jackson White, P.C., Colton clerked for the Honorable A. Bruce Jones in the Denver District Court, civil division. Colton likewise clerked with the Colorado firm, Robinson and Henry, P.C., where he gained experience in family law, real estate, and personal injury.
