I have been a trial attorney for the past 35 years and have been blessed to meet and represent some wonderful people and families throughout those years. I am licensed in Tennessee and Arizona. During my that time, I've been honored to receive several awards and recognitions, including receiving 10 Lawyer of the Year Awards by Best Lawyers in America: (2022-Personal Injury); 2020, 2018, 2015 and 2012-(Medical Malpractice) and 2016 (Product Liability)for Nashville, Tennessee. I am a Fellow of The International Academy of Trial Lawyers, a Fellow of the American College of Trial Lawyers, and a Member of the American Board of Advocates. I am also a past president of the Tennessee Trial Lawyers Association (2007-2008) and a past President of the Nashville Bar Foundation. I limit my practice to helping individuals and families with personal injury and wrongful death claims, medical negligence, nursing home, product liability cases and automobile/bus/tractor-trailer litigation. Notable verdicts: Jury verdict of 5 million dollars on behalf of my client whose 22 month old died of an undiagnosed tick bite infection. The mother had taken her son to the doctor 4 days in a row, only to be sent home. The jury assessed 50% of fault against the pediatrician's office, and 50% of the fault against the hospital. Jury verdict on behalf of my client for nearly 3 million dollars in a car wreck case. Defense had only offered $275,000. I was part of the trial team with my former law office that obtained a jury verdict of 22.6 million dollars for a woman who was paralyzed due to medical negligence.
