While earning his Law Degree, Doug worked for the Law School’s Veterans’ Advocacy Clinic; Chief Judge John Roll’s office in the Federal District Court in Tucson, Arizona; and Judge Eileen Hollowell’s chambers at the Bankruptcy Court in Tucson, Arizona. Doug also argued an immigration/asylum case at the U.S. Ninth Circuit Court of Appeals in Pasadena, California, under the Law School’s Ninth Circuit Pro Bono Appellate program. During Law School, Doug was an Editor for the Harvard Journal of Law and Public Policy (Vol 35, Issue 1), and worked with University of Arizona MBA students in the MBA & Law School’s Law, Entrepreneurship, and Innovation Program where he acted as student counsel and volunteered his time at the Arizona Center for Innovation assisting current and future Entrepreneurs to develop and protect their rising enterprises.
