<p>Alex Navidad is a City of Phoenix Judge. Formerly in private practice, his main practice was criminal defense, immigration and forfeiture law. He received his B.A. degree in Spanish and Law and Society from the University at California at Santa Barbara and his J.D. degree from Arizona State University. Alex was an Assistant Federal Public Defender for the District of Arizona and a Public Defender for Maricopa County. He was a charter member of the Board of Advisors for Phoenix School of Law and a member of the AZ State Bar&rsquo;s Standing Appointments Committee, a member and former chair of the State Bar Criminal Justice Section and a member of the State Bar Criminal Rules Committee, City of Phoenix Citizens Transportation Commission and was chair of the City of Phoenix Licensing Appeals Board. Alex teaches trial skill seminars in Arizona and has been part of ABA, USAID, CWAG and private programs responsible for training lawyers in Latin America. He has been a member of the Board of Directors for Los Abogados since (1997-2009 and 2011-2014 2018) and a former president (2005). Alex was also the Chair of the Los Abogados Foundation.</p>
