About Jilyane Y Acevedo Henry

Jilyane is a hard-working, dedicated family law attorney with over seven years’ experience in family law, as well as experience in juvenile law. She attended Arizona State University where she successfully minored in English and majored in a Bachelors of Psychology. Jilyane later pursued her juris doctorate at Arizona Summit Law School, where she received her J.D. During her graduate studies, she was awarded the CALI Award in Domestic Violence and the Law. Jilyane passed the Arizona State Bar in May 2015. Jilyane’s career began as a family law attorney, assisting families in difficult times for the first seven (7) years of her journey. Jilyane’s career took a turn when she decided it was time to give back to the public and join a position in public service as an assistant attorney general. She dutifully served as an assistant attorney general to prosecute juvenile dependency matters. Through this work, Jilyane recognized her passion to help families directly and agin took to the private arena. As a wife and mother of three, she is flexible and thinks outside the box regarding custody issues. She is committed to honesty, integrity and empathy in the legal system.
