About Juan Godinez
Juan Godinez is an experienced attorney and focuses his practice exclusively on estate planning, trust administration, business organization and general business counsel. Juan has personally drafted numerous wills and trusts for his clients, some with modest estates and some with wealthy estates. For each, he established customized planning, regardless of the size or circumstances of their estate. The most enjoyable part of estate planning for Juan is helping his clients gain peace of mind knowing that they have a plan for their minor children and grandchildren. Juan has also counseled a number of small businesses on various issues ranging from compliance to acquisitions. Previously, Juan served as a Judge Advocate General (JAG) for the United States Air Force. As a JAG, he represented the United States in regulatory matters and litigated over 20 cases. Following his career as a JAG, Juan worked for a large law firm in Phoenix representing both large businesses and small businesses in legal disputes. His unique experience as a litigator afforded Juan the opportunity to see what types of pitfalls his clients may face when preparing legal documents. Today, he is dedicated to assisting his clients avoid those same mistakes. Juan graduated magna cum laude from Brigham Young University, after which he attended law school at Northwestern University School of Law, one of the nation’s top law schools. Juan is admitted to practice law in Arizona (State and Federal). Juan and his wife have four children. He enjoys staying in shape through weightlifting, hiking, wake-boarding, and, of course, snowboarding in Flagstaff. He enjoys everything sports.
