Megan Ealick joined Gallagher & Kennedy as a first-year associate in September, 2024. In her first year of practice, she will practice primarily in the regulatory areas of administrative law, public utilities, and litigation. In her final semester of law school, Megan worked as a legal extern in the Governor’s Office of General Counsel, where she reviewed extradition requests, researched policy issues and Arizona law, and drafted memoranda. During law school, Megan also earned a summer internship at G&K, where she worked with attorneys across virtually every practice area. While working at the firm as a summer associate, she gained valuable experience researching legal issues, communicating with clients, and drafting memoranda, demand letters, and motion briefs. She also worked as a policy extern at the Arizona Justice Project and as a judicial intern for the Honorable Douglas L. Rayes, U.S. District Court for the District of Arizona, through the ABA Judicial Intern Opportunity Program. During law school, Megan served as the Editor-in-Chief of the Law Journal for Social Justice, and as a 3L Representative and President of the Government and Public Interest Law Student Association. She earned the top grade (A+) in Legal Method & Writing and Evidence, the Dean’s Award for Outstanding Performance at ASU Law, and the Carstens Family Fund Scholarship. After earning her master’s degree, Megan worked in the nonprofit sector. For four years, she worked at the ALS Association Arizona Chapter, first as a walk coordinator and later as the development coordinator. She then worked as the director of development and communications at the Arizona Justice Project, which is where she discovered her passion for the law.
