About Melissa Weiss Riner

Melissa went into practice and has practiced almost exclusively in all areas of Family law since 2010. Prior to attending law school, Melissa was a paralegal for 14 years working for several insurance defense firms. That experience gave her a passion to become a lawyer to be able to directly represent people and give them individualized attention. After going through a divorce and working on her own case and then remarrying, she became passionate about working with people in all aspects of their divorce and family law matters. Being a part of a large and blended family, she understands that each case is different and requires a unique approach. Melissa believes it is important to help people settle their issues whenever possible. However, when settlement is not possible, she understands the importance of helping clients navigate through the court system, identifying their individual goals and outcomes and representing them every step of the way through trial.
