<p>Daniel Maldonado is currently a partner with the national law firm, Resnick and Louis, where he handles complex insurance defense litigaition, including wrongful death, negligence, product liability, and premise liability. </p> <p>He was formerly in-house counsel with Liberty Mutual and a former partner at Kunz Plitt, Hyland & Demlong, P.C. Since 2003, Mr. Maldonado has served as co-editor/author of the multi-volume treatise, Couch on Insurance 3d, a nationally recognized authoritative treatise on insurance law. Mr. Maldonado is also a contributing author for CAT Claims: Insurance Coverage for Natural and Man-Made Disasters. He is also served as Articles Co-Chair for the DRI Insurance Law Committee Advertising Injury and Personal Injury Subcommittee in 2013 and 2014. Mr. Maldonado is an author of the employment chapter of the Arizona Tort Law Handbook. He has represented both private and public sector clients regarding Title IX (civil rights), Title VII, The Americans with Disabilities Act, the Age and Employment Discrimination Act, the Family Medical Leave Act, the Fair Labor Standards Act, Section 1983 claims, and the Arizona Civil Rights Act. Mr. Maldonado graduated with a Bachelor&rsquo;s of Science in Aerospace Engineering from the University of California at Los Angeles. He graduated cum laude from the Sandra Day O&rsquo;Connor College of Law at Arizona State University</p>
