<p style="margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in">Gary Stuart spent 32 years at Jennings, Strouss & Salmon and now practices part time as Gary L. Stuart, P.C., primarily as a consultant on ethics, discipline and legal malpractice cases. He has been profiled in <em>Who&rsquo;s Who in American Law</em> (First Edition), is AV-Rated by Martindale-Hubbell&rsquo;s <em>Premier American Lawyers</em>, <em>Best Lawyers in America</em>, and <em>Arizona&rsquo;s Finest Lawyers</em>. The Maricopa County Bar inducted him into its <em>Hall of Fame</em> in October 2010. The <em>National Institute of Trial Advocacy </em>honored him with its <em>Distinguished Faculty</em> designation in 1994. Stuart completed an eight-year term on the <em>Arizona Board of Regents, </em>and served as its President in 2004-2005<em>. </em>He taught as Adjunct Faculty at the University of Arizona James E. Rogers College of Law (2000-2005). He has been on the Adjunct Faculty at the Sandra Day O&rsquo;Connor College of Law since 1994, where he continues to teach Legal Ethics, Legal Writing, and Appellate Advocacy. He also serves as <em>Senior Policy Advisor</em> to the Dean at the ASU College of Law. In his spare time, he serves as President of Arizona's Finest Lawyers Foundation, Inc., President of Keyed Communications, LLC, and on nonprofit commissions and boards. </p> <p style="margin-left:0in; margin-right:0in">He has published several hundred law review articles, blogs, CLE booklets, essys, op-eds, stories, and eighteen books (two textbooks, two Historical Fiction titles, six law-based nonfiction titles, and eight novels. His latest nonfiction title, &ldquo;The Sandra Day O&rsquo;Connor College of Law at ASU&mdash;1965 to 2020&rdquo; was released in 2021. His nonfiction titles are vested in wrongful conviction, Fifth Amendment issues, and stand-your-ground defense in homicide cases.
