<p><em>Gregory K. Stapley</em> is the Executive Chairman of CareTrust REIT, a publicly-traded (NASDAQ:CTRE) real estate investment trust that invests in healthcare-related real estate nationwide. CareTrust was created in a 2014 spin-off of the owned real estate of The Ensign Group, a publicly-traded (NASDAQ:ENSG) healthcare provider based in Mission Viejo. Prior to founding CareTrust, Greg was a co-founder of Ensign, where he was instrumental taking the company public, and in assembling the real estate portfolio that became CareTrust REIT&rsquo;s initial asset base. Since the spin-off in mid-2014, Greg and the CareTrust team have more than doubled the size of CareTrust&rsquo;s real estate portfolio, and more than tripled its market capitalization. Greg previously served as General Counsel for the Sedgwick Companies, an Orange County-based manufacturer, wholesaler and retailer with 192 retail outlets across the United States. Prior to that, he was an equity member of the Phoenix law firm of Jennings, Strouss & Salmon PLC, where his practice emphasized real estate transactions and government relations.</p>
