About Mr Hyung S Choi

<p>Hyung S. Choi focus his practice on representing injured victims, and protecting consumers from avaricious business practices using consumer protection statutes such as the Consumer Fraud Act, Fair Credit Reporting Act, Truth in Lending Act, Fair Debt Collection Practices Act, and the Uniform Commercial Code. Mr. Choi has handled hundreds of successful personal injury and consumer protection cases including class action lawsuits against car dealers and finance companies, as well as jury trials in various superior courts and the U.S. District Court. Mr. Choi&rsquo;s efforts have resulted in the following published decisions favoring consumers: <em>Merlota, LLC v. Santos</em>, 244 Ariz. 488 (2018); <em>Hayward v. Ariz. Cent. Credit Union</em>, 387 P.3d1279, 241 Ariz. 350 (App. 2017); <em>Howell v. Midway Infiniti.</em>, 362 F.Supp.2d 1158 (Ariz. 2005);<em> Uhlig v. Berge Ford</em>, 257 F.Supp.2d 1228 (Ariz, 2003); <em>Garden Lakes Community Association v. Madigan</em>, 204 Ariz. 238, 62 P.2d 983 (App. 2003); and<em> Winkler v. DTE, Inc</em>., 205 F.R.D. 235 (Ariz. 2001). Mr. Choi received his J.D., <em>cum laude</em>, from the Arizona State University College of Law in 1993, and taught civil litigation as an adjunct professor at his alma mater. Mr. Choi also serves as an arbitrator with the State Bar of Arizona Fee Arbitration Program. Mr. Choi immigrated to the United States in 1978 at the age of fourteen.</p>
