<p> J. Kyle Scoresby is a native of Mesa, Arizona. After graduating from Mesa&rsquo;s Westwood High School in 1982 and serving a church mission in Santiago, Chile from 1983-1985, Mr. Scoresby attended Brigham Young University in Provo, Utah, where he majored in Psychology. He was awarded his Bachelor of Science degree, <em>Cum Laude</em>, in August, 1986.<br /> <br /> Mr. Scoresby attended law school at Brigham Young University&rsquo;s J. Reuben Clark Law School, where he graduated fourth in his class of approximately 150 students. Mr. Scoresby was a member of the Brigham Young University Law Review for two years, serving as Lead Note and Comment Editor during his third and final year of law school. Mr. Scoresby was inducted into the The Order of the Coif and graduated <em>Magna Cum Laude</em> in April, 1989.<br /> <br /> After law school, Mr. Scoresby moved to San Diego, California and joined the San Diego branch office of the international law firm Gibson, Dunn and Crutcher. Mr. Scoresby was admitted to the California Bar in December, 1989, and to the Arizona Bar in May, 1990. Mr. Scoresby is also admitted to practice in the United States District Courts in the Southern District of California and in the Arizona District. Mr. Scoresby was admitted to the Bar of the United States Supreme Court in May, 1994.<br /> <br /> Mr. Scoresby and his family moved back to Arizona in late 1990, and Mr. Scoresby began practicing family law in Arizona in 1991. Mr. Scoresby has been practicing law for over 25 years and now limits his practice to divorce and other family law cases of all types.</p>
