About Mr Michael A Urbano

Once you get to know me, you’ll understand that it’s difficult to summarize my background on a single page. In my younger years, I was everything from a member of the military to a flight test engineer, a professional pilot, and a policeman in Las Vegas and Los Angeles. I also proudly hold five degrees — but that’s not where I get my wisdom.

My insight comes from the real world. I’ve lived a full life, and my experience allows me to better read others and relate to people of all kinds. This works to my clients' advantage because, when you’re in the courtroom, you want an attorney who has a blend of both book smarts and street smarts, and that’s exactly what I’ve come to attain.

Still, if you’re in search of an attorney to represent your criminal or family law case, you need more than just a lawyer who’s effective in trial. These are personal matters, and you deserve to be represented by someone you can trust and relate to on a human level. For this reason, I often meet with clients outside the firm. Because let’s face it — we’re going to be a lot more comfortable with each other after we’ve sat down and maybe even have a beer together.

Many of my clients are going through some of the most difficult moments of their lives, and I believe it’s important for me to lighten the mood and help them unwind. I find the humor in stressful situations and always strive to turn dire circumstances around. So, if you end up working with me, we’re likely going to have a good time along the way.

Whether it’s in criminal court or family court, my favorite part of my job still is going to court. I’t’s such a noble and satisfying feeling to get in front of a judge and/or jury and change lives for the better. I’m privileged to make an honorable difference in the world every day, by always standing behind the truth. I proudly fight for people who cannot fight for themselves.

What I want my clients to know about me;

I’m kind yet fierce. I will never take a case to trial that I know we will lose. However, I will never plea out a case that we can win at trial. I put it all on the line every day for my clients, speaking for those who cannot represent themselves. I learned in the military, “never leave a fallen soldier behind.” The same applies in court.
