<p>I have practiced law for almost 30 years, primarily in the areas of medical malpractice defense and skilled nursing facility defense. I am licensed to practice law in Arizona, California, and Nevada. I had the distinct honor to practice as an associate, partner and then shareholder at the law firm of Broening, Oberg, Woods & Wilson until April, 2013. At that time, I accepted my current in-house position with Ensign Services, Inc. as Associate General Counsel and Arizona Litigation Counsel. I am privileged to continue to defend and litigate the cases filed against the separate, independent skilled nursing facilities located in Arizona, owned by Bandera Healthcare, Inc., and affiliated with The Ensign Group, Inc.</p> <p>In addition to my duties with Ensign Services, Inc., as Associate General Counsel and Arizona Litigation Counsel, I am also serving as Of-Counsel with the law firm of Holden & Armer, P.C. I am again happy to practice law with my long-time law school friend and former law partner, DeeDee Holden, and with my friend Scott Holden. </p>
