After becoming a license attorney, he worked as a public defender there, where he eventually was named Legal Defender for Mohave County. </p> <p>After his stint in Kingman, he was appointed Civil Traffic Hearing Officer in the City of Tempe Municipal Court where he presided over countless civil hearings. However, during this time, he longed for the call of battle in the fight for justice so, after serving almost 4 years in this capacity as a judge, he returned to to being a criminal defense lawyer in 1997. Since then he has committed himself to being on the side of the powerless and less-fortunate in our society who find themselves facing the machinery of the State. In his career, he has handled a wide-variety of matters, ranging from those involving simple traffic issues to death-penalty cases. Now in private practice at Gordwin Law, the fight continues...</p>
