<p>Richard W. Sheffield chairs the Business, Finance and Real Estate practice at Fillmore Spencer LLC, where he counsels clients on a broad range of business, real estate, securities, finance, IP licensing, trademark and other transaction matters. He received his B.A. degree from Brigham Young University, as a summa cum laude graduate, a Hinckley Scholar and the Outstanding Senior in Public Relations, and his law degree from the J. Reuben Clark Law School at BYU, where he served as Note and Comment Editor of the <em>BYU Law Review</em>. Prior to the founding of Fillmore Spencer, he worked as a partner and equity partner at Snell & Wilmer in Phoenix. Among other community roles, Richard has served as President of the Arizona Forum, a member of the national Board of Directors and Executive Committee of the BYU Alumni Association, President of the Timpanogos Legal Center, and a member and President of the Provo School District Board of Education.</p>
