<p>Bob holds an undergraduate degree from Yale College and a J.D. from the Univ. of Wyo. Law School where he served as a senior editor on its law review. Bob began practice at O'Connor, Cavanagh as a litigator/transaction attorney. A shareholder at Schmitt Schneck Even & Williams, P.C., Bob is the Coordinator of the Church & Ministry Law Practice Group serving churches, para-church organizations, ministries and secular charities.</p> <p><strong>Certifications:</strong> Certified as a specialist in real property law from 1989 through July 2014 by the AZ State Bar, Bob is a Fellow of the AZ Bar and is rated "A-V" by Martindale-Hubbell. His practice focuses on non-profit entities such as churches, synagogues, temples, gurdwaras, food banks, human services, senior housing, rescue missions, private schools and other para-church organizations.</p> <p><strong>Teaching:</strong> Bob serves as a moderator for the AZ Bar's training course on professionalism, a seminar speaker for non-profit and pastor's conferences, was an Adjunct Professor at The Phoenix Seminary and is an Allied Attorney Honor Corps Member of the Alliance Defending Freedom.</p> <p><strong>Community Service:</strong> Bob served on the Boards of Scottsdale Christian Academy, Stewardship Committee of the PV Community Church, Solid Rock Foundation, the Christian Education Legacy Fund, the Board of Arizona Private Education Scholarship Foundation, as a member of the Christian Legal Society and in its Christian Legal Aid Program to the poor, on the Use of Force Review Board of the Phoenix Police Department and as an NRA pistol instructor. Bob served as Chair of Streetlight USA, serving victims of sexual exploitation and served a term as Chair of the Exec. Council of the Religious Liberty Law Section of the Az. State Bar.</p> <p><strong>Personal:</strong> Bob and his wife, Kathy, attend Scottsdale Bible Church. Son Kevin graduated from U.S. Naval Academy and now serves as a Lt. Col. in the USMC Reserves JAG Corps. Son Tyler graduated from Scottsdale Christian Academy and is a credentialed welder SCUBA instructor.</p>
