<p>Sal was admitted to practice law in New York in 1994, beginning his legal career in a small, Manhattan litigation firm. He moved to Tucson in 1996 and was admitted to the Arizona State Bar in 1997. In Tucson, Sal has worked as an associate in a ten-lawyer firm, an Assistant Attorney General representing Child Protective Services and the State of Arizona against medical malpractice lawsuits, a solo practitioner and finally, as a founding partner in Nuccio & Shirly, P.C. in 2006.</p> <p>Sal has been recognized by the Pima County Bar Association with its <em>Pro Bono Attorne</em>y<em> of the Month Award</em> and <em>Bar Service Award</em>. He has served as Tucson High School's Mock Trial Coach and as Judge at the University of Arizona's Mock Trial Competition.</p> <p>Sal is married to Jeanne Shirly, his law partner. They have three children; the oldest is a student at the University of Arizona, the two youngest attend the Tucson Unified School District.</p>
