Sam has extensive trial experience in criminal law and family law; he has either practiced law, or presided as a Superior Court Judge, in La Paz County, Mohave County, Maricopa County and Yuma County. Sam is licensed to practice law in all state courts within Arizona.</p> <p>Prior to entering private legal practice Sam served as a Superior Court Judge in La Paz County until his retirement in June 2017. As a Superior Court Judge Sam presided over cases involving criminal law (major felonies including first degree murder), family law (divorce, custody, child support, grandparent rights), probate law (wills), juvenile law (dependency, delinquency), civil litigation (personal injury, contract disputes, real estate transactions) and appeals from the justice and magistrate courts (misdemeanor criminal offenses and traffic issues).</p> <p>While Sam has focused his law practice on the areas of criminal defense, family law and probate law, he is glad to discuss a variety of legal issues with you.
