<p style="text-align:justify">Tom&rsquo;s practice over 40 years has been as a lawyer in cases involving complex litigation, hearings and trials (to the court and to juries) in state courts, federal courts, and bankruptcy courts, in private arbitrations, mediations and appeals. He also has substantial experience representing debtors, creditors, trustees and committee&rsquo;s in Bankruptcy Court and has successfully reorganized several companies and individuals and represented creditors. He has also been retained as an expert witness in bankruptcy cases and has testified as such in court. For twenty years Tom was a judge pro tempore in the Maricopa County Superior Court presiding over jury trials and settlement conferences.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">Tom is married and has three children: a daughter, who graduated from the University of Southern California (English; Creative Writing) and Kings College, London (English Literature) who is an editor at St. Martin&rsquo;s Press in New York City; a son who graduated from New York University in Dramatic Writing who is a writer/composer/director and an eighteen year old daughter adopted from China who is a sophomore at the Tisch School of Arts at New York University. He also has two grandchildren.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">For entertainment Tom runs half marathons (fifteen so far), plays the drums, enjoys reading all kinds of literature especially biographies, history and politics, and movies and loves to travel.</p>
