<p>Tom Dean has been fighting for the rights of cannabis consumers since 1993. After cultivating his knowledge in criminal law and procedures and deepening his experience in the courtroom for several years, he moved to Washington, D.C. to become the Legal Director for the National Organization for the Reform of Marijuana Laws (NORML).</p> <p>As NORML&rsquo;s Legal Director, Tom initiated and managed many matters of national importance to marijuana policy reform and coordinated the efforts of the NORML Legal Committee and NORML Amicus Committee in key cases throughout the U.S.. Since returning to Arizona in 2008, Tom has represented clients in a wide range of criminal defense matters, including drug, firearms, murder, theft, and other areas of criminal law. He has also developed a special emphasis and won several key cases in cannabis law. He serves as a lifetime member of the NORML Legal Committee, founded the Arizona Cannabis Bar Association, and was inducted into the NORML Distinguished Counsel&rsquo;s Circle. He has won numberous awards including fa President&rsquo;s Comendation from the Arizona Attorneys for Criminal Justice, The Al Horn Award from NORML, and a Lifetime Achievement award from the Marijuana industry Trade Association.</p> <p>Going through criminal procedures can seem confusing at times.
