<p>Andrea Driggs represents industrial, commercial, and municipal clients on environmental litigation and regulatory matters, focusing on mining, groundwater contamination, complex infrastructure siting, and contaminated site remediation. Andrea advises clients ranging from municipal entities to private companies in the mining and manufacturing industries on a range of environmental laws, including: the Clean Water Act (CWA), Comprehensive Environmental Response, Compensation, and Liability Act (CERCLA), National Environmental Policy Act (NEPA), National Historic Preservation Act (NHPA), Safe Drinking Water Act (SDWA), Resource Conservation and Recovery Act (RCRA), and Endangered Species Act (ESA), as well as various state equivalents. She also has experience advising on permitting, water rights issues, environmental and commercial contracts, environmental due diligence, and toxic torts. Andrea is licensed to practice in Nevada, California, and Arizona.</p> <p>Andrea holds a master&rsquo;s degree in environmental epidemiology and policy from the University of London, which she completed as a Marshall Scholar. There, she focused her master&rsquo;s project on air pollution. Before attending law school, she also worked as an epidemiologist for Los Angeles County. She has a bachelor&rsquo;s degree in biology, and her Honors College thesis was on the biogeochemistry of nitrogen. Andrea lived for three years each in S&atilde;o Paulo and Shanghai and is fluent in Spanish and Portuguese.</p> <p>As part of her pro bono practice, Andrea helped represent an injunction class of affected children in Arizona&rsquo;s foster care system in the District of Arizona and the U.S. Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She also is on the board of directors for the Arizona Center for Disability Law.</p>
