<p><strong>Annette Burns</strong> has been a Family Law Specialist since 1994 and has practiced law in Arizona since 1984. She is a past President of the Association of Family and Conciliation Courts (AFCC), an international organization of family court, legal and mental health professionals. Ms. Burns is formerly a Fellow of the American Academy of Matrimonial Lawyers (AAML). She served on the original Arizona Supreme Court Committee on Rules of Procedure in Domestic Relations Cases from 2003-2006 and has served on every Rules committee reviewing the Arizona Rules of Family Law Procedure since that time. Burns is a co-author of the Arizona Family Law Rules Handbook for Thompson/ West publishers, updated annually, the co-author of BIFF for Coparenting, and the co-author of CoParenting by Design. She authors numerous law review and other articles on family law, parenting coordination, and dispute resolution. She maintains an ADR and parenting coordination practice and frequently serves as mediator, Special Master, and arbitrator in family law matters.</p>
