<p>Brenda Thomson is the Executive Director of Arizona Humanities (2010-present), the Arizona affiliate of the National Endowment for the Humanities. Thomson specializes in nonproft management, fundraising, advocacy, human resources and community relations. Prior to joining Arizona Humanities, Thomson served as the Director of The Center for Law Leadership and Management at the Sandra Day O&rsquo;Connor College of Law at ASU, and Executive Director of the Maricopa County Bar Association. Thomson serves on the national board of the Federation of State Humanities Councils, Arizona Women&rsquo;s Hall of Fame, and the Carver Museum in Arizona. Thomson obtained her B.A in English from Yale University in 1983 and her J.D. from Yale Law School in 1989. Thomson enjoys spending time with nonprofit organizations that promote education and diversity through community and volunteer activities.</p>
