<p>Cynthia became a lawyer in 1997 in Missouri, and practiced in that state for 5 years. She was a judicial clerk for the late Hon. Prewitt at the Missouri Court of Appeals, Southern District, in Springfield. Cynthia then joined a small law firm practicing in a small town north of Branson, Missouri, where she began representing clients in equine law, family law, and criminal defense of clients charged with misdemeanor and criminal traffic offenses.</p> <p>In a cold Midwest February, Cynthia decided to moved back to Prescott, Arizona in early 2002. She then took the Arizona Bar examination, and became licensed by the State Bar of Arizona.</p> <p>Cynthia has 16 years&rsquo; experience as a prosecutor first for the Yavapai County Attorney&rsquo;s Office, where she handled all types of felonies, and then at the Arizona Attorney General&rsquo;s Office where she prosecuted while collar crimes and health care fraud in many counties in Arizona, specifically assigned to cover the northern half of the State. When she came to a point in her career where she wanted a change, her focus was then directed to criminal defense where she used the knowledge gained as a prosecutor to assure a person&rsquo;s Constitutional rights are not violated, and hold the State to its burden of proving each and every element of a charge beyond a reasonable doubt. </p> <p> </p>
