About Ms Denise M Quinterri
<p>Denise M. Quinterri concentrates her practice in ethics, lawyer discipline, and professional responsibility. She represents lawyers in bar complaints and State Bar applicants in character and fitness proceedings. She is rated AV<sup>®</sup> Preeminent<sup>™ </sup>by Martindale Hubbell.</p> <p>Ms. Quinterri received her J.D., <em>cum laude</em>, from the University of Arizona College of Law. After graduation, she joined the law firm of Quarles & Brady Streich Lang LLP as an associate in the litigation section. Several years later, she served as Staff Bar Counsel for the State Bar of Arizona, where she investigated and processed a wide variety of lawyer discipline matters and litigated formal attorney discipline cases. Thereafter, Ms. Quinterri worked with David Dodge at Dodge Anderson, where she and Mr. Dodge handled the lawyer ethics and regulatory matters undertaken by the firm. Ms. Quinterri has had her own solo practice since 2008, but still works with Mr. Dodge at times.</p> <p>Ms. Quinterri served on the Volunteer Lawyers Program (VLP) Advisory Committee from 2002 to 2005. She was named the VLP “New Attorney of the Year” in 2002 and was also formally recognized by the Arizona Foundation for Legal Services & Education as one of the 2003 “Top 50 Pro Bono Attorneys of Arizona.” In 2006, Ms. Quinterri was a recipient of the Foundation’s Mark Santana Award for Exceptional Contributions in Law-Related Education. </p> <p>Ms. Quinterri is a member of the Association of Professional Responsibility Lawyers. She served as President of the Horace Rumpole Inn of Court for 2008-2009. Prior to law school, Ms. Quinterri graduated <em>summa cum laude</em> with a Bachelor of Arts in Sociology from the University of Arizona, and worked for 10 years in business management.</p> <p>Also licensed in Texas (inactive as of 2020).</p>
