<p>Karin Scherner Aldama focuses her practice on complex insurance recovery matters. She has represented policyholders on a number of complex issues, including in successful London arbitrations under the Bermuda Form. In addition, Karin has extensive experience with complex commercial and appellate litigation. She has particular practice depth managing privilege law issues, including in the international context and with cross-border disputes.</p> <p>In her representation of FORTUNE 500, large and mid-size companies and governmental entities, Karin counsels clients operating in a wide range of industries, including the utility, aerospace, semiconductor and online real estate industries. In addition to her extensive experience in various state and federal courts, she provides representation in alternative dispute resolution, with an emphasis on international and domestic arbitration. Karin also frequently takes on pro bono immigration cases and represents indigenous detainees in immigration court as well as before the BIA and appellate courts.</p> <p>Karin is a member of the Board of Act One, a not-for-profit focused on providing access to the arts to students attending underfunded schools.
