<p>Ms. Kaczorowski graduated <em>cum laude, </em>with a Certificate in Global Legal Studies, from Thomas Jefferson School of Law in 2004. She is a career prosecutor, interning during law school for the Yuma County Attorney&rsquo;s Office and becoming a Deputy County Attorney immediately following licensure. From very early in her profession, she found that her greatest joy as a prosecutor is to speak for the victims who are unable to speak for themselves. She initially chose to specialize in prosecuting crimes committed against children, and in 2007, she began prosecuting homicide cases. In 2013, Ms. Kaczorowski became the supervisor of the attorneys in the Drug, Gang and Violent Crimes Unit and focused on prosecuting crimes committed by gang members, particularly those in the Department of Corrections. After first-chairing two death penalty cases, Ms. Kaczorowski was appointed as a Capital Attorney and was asked to supervise the Major Crimes Unit of the Yuma County Attorney&rsquo;s Office which prosecutes all homicides, adult sexual assaults, and dangerous crimes against children that occur in Yuma County, Arizona.</p>
