Ms. Dutcher has served as Deputy Attorney General for the Navajo Nation since April 2019 and was confirmed by the Navajo Nation Council in October 2019. She is a graduate of Window Rock High School. Ms. Dutcher received her Bachelor’s degree in Foreign Service from Georgetown University, Master’s degree in Education from the George Washington University, and Juris Doctor from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. Ms. Dutcher has been licensed to practice law in the state and federal courts of the State of Arizona for eighteen years.</p> <p>Ms. Dutcher joins the Navajo Nation from the Salt River Pima-Maricopa Indian Community (SRPMIC) where she served as Court Solicitor. Kimberly’s career includes Executive Director of the Association on American Indian Affairs (AAIA), the nation’s oldest American Indian advocacy organization. Ms. Dutcher also served the Gila River Indian Community for ten years as Prosecutor, Senior Assistant General Counsel, and as Division Manager providing visionary leadership, direction and guidance to elected leadership as well as seven administrative departments.</p> <p style="text-align:justify">Ms. Dutcher is married and the mother of three adult daughters and a teenage son.</p>
