Prior to her focus on elder law, Ms. Segovia practiced in bankruptcy law, landlord-tenant law, family law, juvenile law, personal injury law, criminal law, and other general civil matters. </p> <p>Ms. Segovia is an Arizona native, born in Phoenix and raised in Glendale. She is a first-generation American, with her parents immigrating to the United States in their late 20s. She moved to Tempe to attend Arizona State University on multiple scholarships, including Regent&rsquo;s and President's, where she graduated in just 3 years with honors through the Barrett Honors College and magna cum laude, with a major in Justice Studies and a minor in Spanish. Ms. Segovia can speak conversationally in Cantonese Chinese and Spanish, and has an understanding of French. When not practicing law, Ms. Segovia enjoys spending time with her family, most of which remain in Arizona, reading, and rooting for her favorite Arizona sports teams. </p>
