<p>Attorney Lindsay E. Benjamin was born and raised in Phoenix, Arizona and completed her undergraduate degree at Arizona State University. She attended law school at Thomas Jefferson School of Law in San Diego, California, where she was granted scholarships and graduated with honors with an emphasis in Intellectual Property. Lindsay was admitted to the State Bar of Arizona in 2004, and has focused her entire practice in family law.</p> <p>Lindsay is admitted to practice in Arizona State Court, the United States District Court (District of Arizona) and the United States Court of Appeals for the Ninth Circuit. She also has been admitted to the Maricopa County Bar Association and the American Bar Association (Section of Family Law).</p> <p>Lindsay was elected as a Member and served on the Executive Council for the State of Arizona, Family Law Section, from 2005 through 2013. She has also been listed on the Madison&rsquo;s Who&rsquo;s Who List of Professionals in America in 2005 and 2006. Lindsay was recognized as a Top Attorney in Phoenix Magazine in 2012, 2013 and 2014, and as an Arizona Rising Star Attorney in Southwest Super Lawyers Magazine (awarded to only 2.5% of all attorneys in the Southwest each year) in 2012, 2013 and 2014. Lindsay has been recognized as America&rsquo;s Most Honored Professionals (top 10%) in 2014, and recognized again in America&rsquo;s Most Honored Professionals (top 5%) in 2015.</p> <p>Lindsay was a founding member of People Saving Pets, a non-profit organization aimed at decreasing the number of euthanized animals in shelters by facilitating adoption events with Maricopa County. She has also served on the board of &ldquo;Handbags and Tailwags,&rdquo; a non-profit annual event sponsoring the Arizona Animal Welfare League.</p> <p> </p>
