<p>Marie Splees Zawtocki has practiced law in Arizona since 1987. Zawtocki Law Offices, PLLC, was established in 2003 with her husband and law partner Rich Zawtocki. Ms. Zawtocki focuses her practice on family law including the specific issues of divorce, paternity, legal separation, annulment, legal decision making (child custody) and parenting time, domestic violence, and a variety of other family issues. Her undergraduate degree is from Fairfield University in Connecticut. Her legal experience includes the legal department at Wright Patterson AFB in Dayton, Ohio, and the Immigration Court in Newark, New Jersey. Upon moving to Arizona she was employed by Community Legal Services where she worked on cases and issues in public benefits, disability, domestic violence, landlord/tenant, and family law. She then worked for CODAMA on housing and mental health issues and for the Superior Court of Maricopa County assisting in the establishment of the Self Service Center. Her professional volunteer services include Family Law Assistance Program (FLAP), Volunteer Lawyer&rsquo;s Program, and Modest Means Project participation, as well as serving as a Judge Pro Tem (past years). </p> <p>Ms. Zawtocki has lived in the East Valley since 1986. She and her husband live in Chandler near their children and grandchildren. They like to hike, camp, and travel around Arizona and elsewhere. Her community service includes volunteering at local schools, St. Benedict&rsquo;s and other local churches. She is active in the Catechesis of the Good Shepherd program. She has current and past affiliations with local Girl Scout and Boy Scout councils and troops and a variety of sports organizations.
