She earned her Juris Doctor with Distinction (1996) from the University of Oklahoma College of Law where she also received the American Jurisprudence award for International Business and was awarded third prize in the National Judges Association essay competition. Prior to law school, Sara worked in marketing for an award-winning regional advertising agency and for a nationally-recognized health insurance provider.</p>
