<p>Sarah Showard graduated from the University of Maryland in 1985, Magna Cum Laude with the Bachelor of Arts in English-Linguistics and a Certification in Women's Studies. She then graduated from New York University School of Law in 1988. Sarah began practice initially as an insurance defense attorney, and has been representing plaintiffs ever since 1990. Sarah has one son, Benjamin, who is attending Arizona State University where he is studying Business and plans to attend law school and join Showard Law Firm in the future. In her spare time, Sarah and her husband Peter enjoy horseback riding and spending time at their ranch in Sonoita. Sarah is currently the American Heart Association Heart Ball Chair; Certified EVO Instructor; Member, National Association of Women Business Owners; Past Board Member, Arizona Trial Lawyers Association; Past Vice President of the Board of Directors, Wingspan Community Center; Past Co-Chair , Lambda Legal Group; Past Chair, Pride Law Clinic; Former Associate, Haralson , Kinerk and Morey; North and Barron; Jennings, Strouss and Salmon; Shareholder of Jacoby & Meyers Law Office, Tucson, 1996-2006.</p>
