<p>Tonya is an effective representative for her clients in all manner of Family Law disputes. Each case is evaluated from the individual&rsquo;s personal needs&rsquo; perspective. The tone of the case is set with the client. </p> <p>Tonya graduated from the University of Arizona in 1991 and Arizona State University Sandra Day O'Connor College of Law in 2005, with the International Academy of Trial Lawyers Award and Pro Bono Service Award. During law school she won American Bar Association&rsquo;s Representation in Mediation Competition (Nationals: 2^nd Place; Western Regional two-time 1^st Place Winner). Tonya took first place in the Client Counseling Competition and was a two-year member of the ASU Trial Advocacy Team. While a student attorney in the Civil Justice Clinic, she had the privilege of successfully representing her client throughout legal process including the Arizona Court of Appeals. Prior to law school, Tonya had a career as an advocate for Arizona&rsquo;s Seriously Mentally Ill population. She also contracted with the Arizona Department of Health Services to conduct physical abuse, sexual abuse, and mortality investigations.</p> <p>Tonya is a member of the Arizona, New Mexico, Nevada, and the U.S. District Courts for the Districts of Arizona and New Mexico. Tonya has always been a trial attorney who is able to balance the cooperative approach necessary to facilitate resolution and the attention to detail and strong advocacy necessary for trial. Whether its a new divorce or re-working the parenting plan and modifying child support, Tonya is prepared to be your advocate. </p>
