About Patrick Lacroix
I work for Division One of the Arizona Court of Appeals as a staff attorney for appeals from the juvenile court. Previously, I worked for 15 years in private practice and as in-house counsel for a non-profit adoption agency. I also have significant experience in civil litigation and appeals. I am a fellow of the American Academy of Adoption and Assisted Reproduction Attorneys. My B.A. is from Georgetown University and my J.D. degree, cum laude , from the University of Arizona Rogers College of Law. I lecture both locally and nationally on the subject of adoption law and contested adoptions. I was named one of the top 50 pro bono attorneys in Arizona in 2015 and 2022. I was named attorney of the year for in 2022 for my pro bono work with the Children’s Program of the Florence Immigrant & Refugee Rights Project. I am also proud to be a member of the Arizona State Bar Association. I have served as a trustee on several non-profit boards in the field of child welfare.
