I am privileged to represent my cleints at the most trying times in their lives. My personal and profession goal is complete representation for my clients. People need an attorney who can be there for them beyond just the case. I have spent years representing my clients in criminal, juvenile delinquency, civil, and child welfare matters. This includes extensive experience in juvenile law and three years of exclusively representing parents in child welfare cases such as dependency, severance of parental rights, adoption, and guardianship. I am still very passionate about these areas. I recently was able to start a firm with my good friend and partner with the hopes of bringing my belief in holistic representation to more people. With this in mind we strive to not just resolve problems, but make certain our clients have a full understanding of the issues and strategies involved in their unique matter. At the firm of Michael & Casey we know that an educated client is set up for success. I enjoy handling a busy caseload that has me constantly in court. I believe in what I do and this makes work easy. In 2015 I was honored by the Arizona Public Defender's Association when they acknowledged my work and awarded me their annual Rising Star Award. While in law school I had a very fulfilling position working in civil commitment defense where I helped adults, juveniles, and adolescents facing commitment. In this position I would regularly defend teens and adults in dire need of assistance. I believe the key to personal and professional success is a combination of the willingness to work, being able to break down complex situations into their smaller parts in order to manage them better, and the ability to willingly take and process criticism. It is also helpful to have an active and positive social life which I achieve by volunteering in my community.
