Mr. Lamb is a civil litigator. He represents individuals and businesses of all sizes, including financial institutions, sureties, insurance companies, construction contractors, and leasing companies. He has vast experience successfully litigating all aspects and stages of a civil lawsuit, including pleadings, discovery, motion practice, mediations, arbitrations, jury trials, and appeals. Mr. Lamb joined Jennings, Haug & Cunningham as an Associate Attorney in April 2013, and was named a Partner in January 2018. Prior to joining the Firm, Mr. Lamb was an Associate Attorney at a consumer law firm, where he represented consumers in claims arising out of various consumer protection laws, including the Telephone Consumer Protection Act, the Fair Credit Report Act, and the Fair Debt Collection Practices Act. This serves as invaluable experience as Mr. Lamb now assists the Firm’s business clients in achieving their goals (e.g. enforcing consumer/residential loans and other consumer contracts) while complying with the consumer protection laws. In addition, Mr. Lamb has used this experience to assist businesses in defending lawsuits filed pursuant these consumer protection laws. Mr. Lamb has achieved multiple successful jury verdicts for his clients, including a several hundred thousand dollar award to the Firm’s surety client and multiple defense verdicts for the Firm’s insurance clients. He has also had success on appeal, including successfully representing the Firm’s surety client in the appeal that resulted in the published decision of S & S Paving & Const., Inc. v. Berkley Reg'l Ins. Co. , 239 Ariz. 512, 372 P.3d 1036 (App. 2016). In that decision, the Arizona Court of Appeals found that a surety on a payment bond for a public construction project may not be sued for bad faith. Mr. Lamb is a graduate of the University of Michigan (B.S. in Philosophy, 2004) and the Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law at Arizona State University (J.D., Cum Laude , 2011). During law school, he externed with the Honorable Kristin Hoffman while she was a Maricopa County Superior Court Judge, and also with the Honorable Daniel Barker who was then a Judge with the Arizona Court of Appeals. Further, Mr. Lamb was an Associate Editor on the Arizona State Law Journal, and was a Rule 38 Attorney through the Arizona State Civil Justice Clinic.
