About Samantha Dawn Walker
I am a University of Arizona alumn two times over, obtaining a double major in English and Creative Writing in 2018 and my Juris Doctor from James E. Rogers in 2021. As a law student, I served as an Articles Editor for Arizona Law Review and President of the Christian Legal Society. My first year, I received the award for Outstanding Performance in Legal Writing. I received a CALI Award for Governance, Risk Management, & Compliance my second year. I received a Dean’s Achievement Award for Leadership upon graduation. During the summer of my first year, I worked for the Town of Marana as their Law Clerk, gaining diverse experience in criminal, employment, and civil law. During my third year, I was fortunate to obtain the Udall Fellowship, which gave me the opportunity to work with four different prosecution agencies, the City of Tucson, Pima County, the Attorney General, and the U.S. Attorney’s Office. As a born and raised Tucsonan, I’m a fan of hiking and warm weather. My free time is often filled with reading, baking, or wood working.
