About Stephen Matthew Vincent
Stephen Vincent has worked as a family law attorney for most of his career. Mr. Vincent wrote county ordinances, sat on the Land Use Authority Board, advised the Planning Commission, headed up the County’s response to the BLM’s Travel Management Plan, and assisted in the prosecution of homicide cases. Mr. Vincent graduated from Arizona State University’s Sandra Day O’Connor College of Law. While in law school, Mr. Vincent conducted mediations for Maricopa Justice Courts, was a vice president of the Family Law Assistance Project and the Federalist Society, and served as managing editor of the Sports & Entertainment Law Journal. Prior to law school, Mr. Vincent worked as an adjunct instructor of communications at Southern Utah University and an adjunct instructor of Developmental English at Dixie State University. Mr. Vincent also worked as a sportswriter in Utah for The Provo Daily Herald, The St. George Specrtrum, and Dixie Weekly News. Although primarily covering high school sports, Mr. Vincent also covered the Mountain West Conference and some Utah Jazz games. Mr. Vincent earned his bachelor’s degree in communication from Brigham Young University, and a master’s degree in communications from Southern Utah University. In his free time, Mr. Vincent enjoys pottery painting, writing, watching sports, and spending time with family, friends, and dogs (particularly Australian shepherds).
