About Uri G Palmer

I am a founding partner at Randle Palmer & Associates, PLLC, and a native of Tucson. I attended grade school here before graduating from the University of Arizona with a degree in Political Science. I then spent several years working as a courtroom clerk at the Pima County Superior Court, before moving to Virginia to attend law school. I attended the George Mason University School of Law, where I was vice president of the GMU branch of the American Constitution Society, and on the board of the Trial Advocacy Association. While in Virginia, I worked with the Office of the Public Defender in Loudon and Fairfax Counties on cases ranging from simple possession to first-degree murder. Later, I worked for Northern Virginia Legal Services, with a focus on offering free representation to victims of domestic violence in protection order hearings. I returned to Tucson to accept a position with the Pima County Office of Children's Counsel (OCC) representing children in abuse and neglect cases and in contentious divorce and child custody proceedings. During my years at the OCC, I litigated countless dependency and severance cases, prosecuted severances on behalf of my child clients, and helped to give voice to children at risk of being lost in the system. I left the OCC to go into private practice, and in 2016 I joined Arizona Child & Family Law as a partner. In June of 2019, Arizona Child & Family Law became Randle Palmer & Bernays, now Randle Palmer & Associates, where I am a partner today. I practice a straightforward approach to divorce, child-custody, dependency, severance, and adoption cases. Additionally, I have successfully represented numerous grandparents and third-party intervenors in visitation, placement, and in loco parentis actions.
